  It seems like a long time since we formed on 19 February 2005!  We have performed many plays that have been well attended even though they have had a variety of differing, and in some cases disturbing plots.  We have been able to produce mainstream as well as controversial works successfully.  This proves to me that Xenia is more progressive than many people outside the area conceive it to be.

  2008 is going to be a very critical time for the theater.  Our building is in need of modification in order for us to use it.  This comes as a disappointing surprise for us.  We are going to rely heavily on the community to help us make our dream of a free-standing community arts center a reality.  I firmly believe that area citizens are up to the task.

  The 2008/2009 season is an exciting one.  We worked very hard to offer a variety of genres.  I am certain that there is something for everyone.  I am proud of what we have done so far and I see only bright skies ahead.

  I am very pleased to announce that our Children's theater program is growing.  Please check back regularly to see what is upcoming.  Cathy Bengson has come on board as our Children's theater coordinator.  She has much experience in this area and I am so glad to have her.

  Please consider donating time or resources to our cause.  Ticket sales revenue for shows can only provide a fraction of the capital needed to keep an arts organization  afloat for the long term.  We are in constant need of individuals to act, stage manage, costume, mentor, build, design, the list goes on!  If you have a talent, I am sure we can utilize it.  Please contact our Volunteer coordinator, Jo Rolston, for more information.
